Dante Pesce studied History and Political Science at the Catholic University of Chile and Public Administration at Harvard University. Grassroots community organizer during the 90´s and from 2001 onwards, Founder and Executive Director of Vincular Center at the Business School of the Catholic University of Chile, with experience of work in 24 countries, all of them in the "global south". Ashoka Foundation Fellow, Mason Fellow at Harvard Kennedy School. Current Advisor to the Corporate Executive Boards of BAYER, DHL and WINTERSHALLDEA. Past or current member of advisory boards of GRI, ISO26000, AMFORI, PRI, among others. Lecturer at several Universities in Latin America, but also in Zurich, Geneva, Brussels, Beijing, etc. In 2015 was appointed by the United Nations Human Rights Council to serve ad-honorem for 6 years and 6 months, as member of the UN working group on business and human rights, including being Chair/President on 3 occasions, leading tracks as policy coherence, state owned enterprises, due diligence in practice and the evaluation of the first 10 years of implementation of the guiding principles and the strategy for the next 10 years
