Analista de Políticas y punto focal para América Latina y el Caribe en el Centro para la conducta empresarial responsable de la Organización para la Cooperación y el Desarrollo Económicos (OCDE). Abogado con Maestría en Relaciones Internacionales de la Universidad de Bologna. Llevó a cabo un Programa profesional en Gestión Pública para el Desarrollo (BID) y tiene estudios complementarios en Innovación Política (ADS-University of Arizona).

Cuenta con más de 10 años de experticia como consultor e investigador para el diseño e implementación de políticas, programas y proyectos enfocados en el desarrollo sostenible, políticas sociales y empresas y DDHH. Ha trabajado con organizaciones como el Instituto Danés de Derechos Humanos, la OEA, USAID, la Universidad de Princeton, el Hub para América Latina del Institute for Human Rights and Business CREER-IHRB, la OEA y la Alianza de Inversionistas para los Derechos Humanos (investor Alliance for Human Rights), entre otras.

Policy Analyst and Regional Focal Point for Latina America and the Caribbean at the OECD Centre for Responsible Business Conduct. Prior to joining the OECD, Germán worked for more than a decade as a consultant and researcher, mainly focused on Human Rights and Business, Sustainability, and Social Development. He has worked with both the private and public sectors, including organisations such as the Ministry of Agriculture in Colombia, the LAC regional representation of the Institute for Human Rights and Business, Princeton University, The United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the Investor Alliance for Human Rights and the Danish Institute for Human Rights, among others.

A Colombian national, Germán holds a degree in Law (Xavierian University, Colombia), an MA in International Relations (University of Bologna) and a Professional Programme in Public Management for Development (IDB).
